Renovatio Wind Projects in Operation

Baia Wind Park I and II - 17 MW
The Baia Wind Parks I and II were built in two stages. Located in Dobrogea, Romania it comprises a total capacity of 17 MW.

Capacity: 17 MW.
Wind Turbines: Vestas V90.
Turbine Capacity: 3 MW and 2MW.
Electrical Connection: Connection to existing substation.
Location: Dobrogea, Romania.
Start of construction: Baia I - November 2009, Baia II - March 2010.
Commissioning: Baia I - March 2010, and Baia II - July 2011.

Pestera Wind Park - 90 MW
The 90 MW Pestera Wind Park officially started its operations in November 2010 and is operated in cooperation with EDP Renewables.

Capacity: 90 MW.
Wind Turbines: Vestas V90.
Turbine Capacity: 3 MW.
Electrical Connection: T-Connection to 110 kV line.
Location: Dobrogea, Romania.
Start of construction: October 2009.
Commissioning: End of 2010.

Cernavoda Wind Park I and II - 138 MW
Cernavoda Wind Park I and II are also located in Dobrogea, Romania because of the favorable conditions in the area. With a capacity of 138 MW, this project is operated in partnership with EDP Renewables.

Capacity: 138 MW.
Wind Turbines: Vestas V90.
Turbine Capacity: 3 MW.
Electrical Connection: In and out connection to Mircea Voda Nord substation.
Location: Dobrogea, Romania.
Start of construction: October 2009.
Commissioning: End of 2010.

Sarichioi Wind Park - 33MW
Sarichioi is also located in Dobrogea, Romania because of the favorable conditions in the area. With a capacity of 33 MW, this project is operated in partnership with EDP Renewables.

Capacity: 33 MW.
Wind Turbines: Vestas V90.
Turbine Capacity: 3 MW.
Electrical Connection: In and out connection to 110kV Zebil, Tulcea Vest.
Location: Dobrogea, Romania.
Start of construction: April 2011.
Commissioning: Q1 2012.

Vutcani Wind Park - 24MW
Vutcani is located in Moldova, Romania because of the favorable conditions in the area. With a capacity of 24 MW, this project is operated in partnership with EDP Renewables.

Capacity: 24 MW.
Wind Turbines: Vestas V90.
Turbine Capacity: 2 MW.
Electrical Connection: In and out connection to 110kV Husi - Munteni.
Location: Moldova, Romania.
Start of construction: March 2011.
Commissioning: Q1 2012.

Cobadin Wind Park - 26MW
Cobadin is located in Dobrogea, Romania because of the favorable conditions in the area. With a capacity of 26 MW, this project is operated in partnership with EDP Renewables.

Capacity: 26 MW.
Wind Turbines: Vestas V90.
Turbine Capacity: 2 MW.
Electrical Connection: In and connection to Cobadin substation.
Location: Dobrogea, Romania.
Start of construction: Q1 2012.
Commissioning: Q4 2012.

Albesti Wind Park - 28MW
Vutcani is located in Moldova, Romania because of the favorable conditions in the area. With a capacity of 28 MW, this project is operated in partnership with EDP Renewables.

Capacity: 28 MW.
Wind Turbines: Vestas V100.
Turbine Capacity: 2 MW.
Electrical Connection: In and out connection to 110kV Husi-Munteni.
Location: Moldova, Romania.
Start of construction: August 2012.
Commissioning: Q1 2013.

Renovatio PV Projects in Operation

Singureni Photovoltaic Park - 1 MW
Located in the southern part of the country, Singureni Photovoltaic Park is the first 1 MW solar park constructed in Romania, as well as the first park constructed and operated by Renovatio.

Capacity: 1 MW.
Number of panels: 4176.
Panel Capacity: 240 wp
Electrical Connection: T-Connection to a 20 kv line.
Location: Giurgiu County, Romania.
Start of construction: May 2010.
Commissioning: End of 2010.

Scornicesti Photovoltaic Park - 1 MW
Scornicesti Photovoltaic Park is the second solar park to be operated by Renovatio in the country with a capacity of 1 MW. It is located in Olt County in Romania.

Capacity: 1 MW.
Number of panels: 4176.
Panel Capacity: 240 wp
Electrical Connection: Connection to existing substation.
Location: Olt County, Romania.
Start of construction: Q3 2011.
Commissioning: Q4 2011.

Corabia Photovoltaic Park - 7 MW
Located in the southern part of the country, 5,5 km from the Danube. Corabia Photovoltaic Park will be the fourth MW solar park constructed by Renovatio.

Capacity: 7 MW.
Number of panels: 28602.
Panel Capacity: 245 Wp.
Electrical Connection: T-Connection to a 20 kv line.
Location: Olt County, Romania.
Start of construction: Q4 2012.
Commissioning: Q1 2013.

Izvoru Photovoltaic Park - 10 MW
Located in the south part of Romania, 22 km away from the Danube, in Giurgiu County. Izvoru Photovoltaic Park is the biggest photovoltaic park constructed in Romania so far, as well as the biggest constructed by Renovatio.

Capacity: 10 MW.
Number of panels: 41760.
Panel Capacity: 240 Wp
Electrical Connection: Connection to existing 20/110kV substation.
Location: Giurgiu County, Romania.
Start of construction: Q4 2012.
Commissioning: Q1 2013.

Distributed Generation

Distributed Generation (DG) is all about consumer control and it refers to power generation at the point of consumption. Once able to generate power on-site, as opposed to transporting it from a far away power plant, one eliminates the costs, complexities, and inefficiencies associated with transmission and distribution.

Renovatio aims to build a significant portfolio of distributed generation assets that will not only tackle the cost of energy production and transport, but also its carbon footprint and impact on the environment.
